Abstract
Since 18 April 2026, NIS2 compliance in Belgium has reached a new milestone. Essential entities must now be able to demonstrate that they are effectively implementing the required cybersecurity risk-management measures and following a recognized compliance pathway.
For Belgian organizations, the focus is therefore no longer simply on understanding NIS2 requirements, but on putting them into practice and demonstrating compliance.
