WALLIX is positioned in Gartner’s first Magic Quadrant for PAM

WALLIX is positioned in Gartner’s first Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management (PAM)

WALLIX, a leading European cybersecurity vendor, is proud to be included in the first-ever Gartner Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management. We believe this recognition reflects the continued growth and strong results of our company, overperforming PAM market growth (x1.6) for 2017, and achieving a continuous 43% CAGR since 2014. With more than 670 customers at the end of June 2018, WALLIX continues its international expansion and growth in new markets including North America.

Our Application-to-Application Password Manager as well as our advanced and standardized API are central to helping customers integrate the Bastion seamlessly within their infrastructures.

WALLIX: We believe our users say it best

The WALLIX product suite is developed with the aim to integrate seamlessly into customers’ environments, and to be invisible for users in order to avoid resistance to a solution that can otherwise be perceived as intrusive. From our customers who commented on Gartner Peer Insights, the Bastion is a “Solution that meets the fixed specifications. Easy installation and deployment. Reduced installation cost. Strong capacity for evolution. Does not change the habits of administrators. WALLIX’s commitment to support and implement”[1] with “No significant impact or change in the daily activities of users.”[2]

User experience

From the Gartner Peer Insights portal, presenting anonymous and verified reviews from solutions users, the ease of use of the solution is mentioned recurrently:Wallix solution is very efficient and simple to build. Both their sales and R&D teams are open and helpful for users.”[3]; “Implementation was quick and support was available in a timely manner”[4]; “Easy to implement Easy to manage”[5]

Availability, reactivity, and quality of support

Another area that we feel we have succeeded in, is the availability of the WALLIX teams and the quality of support customers receive. In 2018, one of WALLIX’s challenges was to maintain and reinforce the quality of the service provided to our customers while continuing to grow and scale as a business. As mentioned by our customers, “The product wa[s] easy to implement and easy to configure. The support is very good to, even for specific technical issues. New features still coming.”[6]; “First setup of the solution is easy, well documented and if needed advices of Wallix support team are always available”[7]

WALLIX’s CTO, Serge Adda, is particularly enthusiastic about this recognition.

“We believe that the Gartner Magic Quadrant validates our Session Manager as a top-notch solution. WALLIX aims to deliver a solution that is easy to install and easy to run.  To us, being recognized by our customers for the simplicity of the Bastion is especially rewarding.”

We see overwhelmingly positive momentum in the first Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management which further bolsters our enthusiasm for the roll-out of the Ambition 2021 plan, to become one of Europe’s leading cybersecurity players. As such, WALLIX remains loyal to the simplicity-by-design that characterizes the product and continues to expand internationally with new offices in key locations including the US and Germany.
